See Pricing & Ordering for current shelter sizes and prices:
- Choose from our standard ‘All Hazard Shelters’, or customize your own design.
- After careful and detailed joint assessment of your needs, approval of a final design and cost adjustments, you will be given a final price and an estimated shipping date.
- If you would like us to arrange a quote for the transport of the shelter, we will need the zip code of the final destination of the shelter.
- Once you have received all this information, you may wish contact possible installers to get installation quotes and pre-coordinate a timeline for installation. We would be happy to guide you in that process.
- Our customers have used installation supervisors in the past, who are willing to come on site and supervise the installation process. We would be happy to supply their names. They are not, however, employees of our company. Experienced supervisors can help smooth and expedite the installation process.
- A 50% deposit is required when you are ready for us to commence the construction of your shelter. Once construction has begun, the deposit becomes non-refundable. Your shelter will be completed approximately 6 weeks after the commencement of construction.
- If your county requires a permit, in order to protect your deposit, you may wish to request that we delay the start of the shelter construction until the permit is granted. We will need this request in writing. In the event your permit is not granted, a complete and timely refund of your deposit will then be assured. We have never, to date, been denied a permit. We will prepare all permit materials and the required engineering signatures and stamps. Permits sometimes take several weeks to process.
- Upon receipt of the 50% shelter deposit (unless otherwise directed) the shelter construction will commence and we will purchase your VA150 ventilator and gas filter from Switzerland. The VA150 unit will be transported via airfreight from Switzerland to your location and should arrive approximately 2 weeks after your initial deposit.
- Upon commencement of construction, we will send you information on shelter installation and function. We will keep you appraised of our progress.
- Near the completion date, you should finalize your transport and installation plans. We would be happy to help you coordinate this process. Final payment is due at our office (or bank) two working days before the shelter leaves our construction site. We can send you wiring instructions to help expedite that process.
